Program Overview
The UCLA AI Exploration Summer Camp is a three-week interdisciplinary program designed for students interested in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The curriculum integrates Business Strategy, Design Thinking, and hands-on AI / AIoT applications, guiding students from ideation to real-world implementation
through neural network processors (NPU).
The program also includes visits to leading organizations such as:
NASA JPL (TBD), SpaceX (TBD), Disney HQ (TBD), DreamWorks (TBD), Riot Games (TBD),
NBC Universal (TBD), Blizzard (TBD), Broadcom (TBD), VIZIO (TBD), Qualcomm (TBD),

Transfer by chartered bus to the Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Center for a group forum connect with international students, focusing on overseas study experiences and academic pathways.

AI / AIoT Hands-on Training Program
This program includes 60+ hours of instruction, covering AI fundamental theories, machine learning model training, sensor integration, and edge computing applications.
Students will gain a deep understanding of core Artificial Intelligence and AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) technologies.
Under the guidance of university professors and industry experts, participants will identify high-potential AI business application topics, complete full-cycle project development, and present final result through structured project demonstrations.

Corporate Business Presentations
Students will deliver midterm and final business presentations to senior executives at TabooLA (Los Angeles Office) and Kneron (San Diego Headquarters).
The program concludes with team-based presentations showcasing innovative AI solutions, strengthening presentation skills and teamwork while building a competitive portfolio for future academic applications and international competitions.

Technology & Cultural Exploration
The itinerary integrates technology with cultural experiences, including:
Paramount Pictures Studios, Universal Studios Hollywood, The Getty Center Museum, The Getty Villa, Griffith Observatory (featured in La La Land), MLB Los Angeles Dodgers, Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens, California Science Center, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Visits to Top U.S. Universities
The program includes visits to leading U.S. institutions such as UCLA, USC, Caltech, and ArtCenter College of Design.
A special overseas study forum hosted by the Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Center will be arranged (TBD), providing students with valuable insights into studying and pursuing careers in the United States.



Visits to Leading Technology Companies
Participants will visit selected companies and organizations, including (subject to confirmation):
TabooLA (Los Angeles), NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, SpaceX, Disney Headquarters, DreamWorks, Riot Games, NBC Universal / Blizzard (Irvine), Broadcom, VIZIO, Qualcomm (San Diego), Kneron, startup accelerator Idealab, and venture capital firm Mucker Capital.

An Up-Close MLB Experience
The camp includes a special visit to Dodger Stadium, one of the most iconic baseball stadiums in the world and the stadium with the largest seating capacity globally.
Participants will experience the electrifying atmosphere of Major League Baseball (MLB) firsthand. During the program, there may also be an opportunity to watch superstar Shohei Ohtani compete up close and witness world-class professional baseball in action.

In the event of force majeure circumstances such as international situations, weather conditions, or other unforeseen factors, the organizer reserves the right to make last-minute changes to the itinerary, sequence of activities, accommodations, or dining arrangements without prior notice. The final itinerary shall be subject to the pre-departure handbook or briefing materials.
Participants who withdraw from the group or abandon the itinerary during the program are not eligible for refunds. -
To ensure participant safety, any request to leave the group during the camp period must be accompanied by a written consent form completed by a parent or legal guardian.
